Message Board Rules:

The employees of GhostDroppings.com would like to spend as little time as possible monitoring and moderating the Message Board. If we see any abuse of the message boards, then we reserve the right to revoke your priviledges and/or ban your IP address depending on the severity. We loosely define abuse as any of the following restricted activities:

OBSCENITY

Do not post anything that includes vulgar, obscene, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexual or indecent language or images. Gore is alright as long as it's not real. Keep the porn on the other half of the internet. Also, never make personal attacks on other users or start fights.

FLOODING

Please do not flood the message board with repetitive posts or multiple instances of the same thread. This is NOT a chatroom, please do not post messages such as, "HEY!! HOW ARE YOU?" or "WHERE ARE YOU????" This message board is intended for asking questions or starting discussions relevant to the topic of the thread. Please take the time to skim over threads or check to see if that topic was previously started. Please do not post the same topic in multiple section, this will be considered spamming! Check the appropriate sections on where to post.

EMOTICON ABUSE

Please don't abuse the emoticons. They are there for you to express your emotions (hence the "emot" in "emoticons"), but there's no reason to place more than one or two in your posts. Not only does this look obnoxious, it slows down the load time for the thread. Please be considerate of others.

POST GUIDE

Please make sure the appropriate post is posted in the proper section. The main forums contain multiple sections including "General Halloween," "Halloween Props," "Halloween Decorating" etc. If you have a website you would like to show off, please post it ONLY in the "Links Mausoleum," section once. Posting the same thread in multiple sections will not be tolerated, this goes for all sections. Also please do not ask any members for money, investors, banner ads etc. There is also a "Off Topic," section that includes member introductions, game threads, personal life etc. Please keep all threads on topic in each specific section, otherwise a moderator will move each thread to the appropriate section.

SPAMMING

There will be absolutely no posting of advertisements or solicitations of services or goods, please see above post guide.

IMPERSONATION

Don't impersonate anyone (another user, a celebrity, a GD employee, etc.). If you do, it had better be funny and only mildly offensive.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

You are welcome to post links to myspace, facebook, twitter, websites etc. Please understand you are doing this at your own discretion and Ghost Droppings can not be held liable for anything that may occur outside of this message board. Please use personal responsibility.

COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL

Please avoid posting unauthorized copyrighted material unless properly cited.

CHAIN LETTERS

It's simple. Just don't post them. Supersitions regarding chain letters won't be tolerated.

OTHER

The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that Ghost Droppings has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither Ghost Droppings or BBPress shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. We reserve the right to remove users who display a proclivity to harass, antogonize, or upset others.

Posting of other information that GD decides (in its sole discretion) is inappropriate for the site may lead to additions in this list in the future.
