Message Board Rules:
The employees of GhostDroppings.com would like to spend as little time as possible monitoring and moderating the Message Board. If we see any abuse of the message boards, then we reserve the right to revoke your priviledges and/or ban your IP address depending on the severity. We loosely define abuse as any of the following restricted activities:
OBSCENITY: Do not post anything that includes vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images. Gore is alright as long as it's not real. Keep the porn on the other half of the internet. Also, never make personal attacks on other users. If we wanted to babysit, we would start a daycare center.
FLOODING: No flooding a message board with repetitive posts or multiple instances of meaningless babble. This is NOT a chatroom, please do not post messages such as, "HEY!! HOW ARE YOU?" or "WHERE ARE YOU????" This message board is intended for asking questions or starting discussions relevant to the topic of the thread.
EMOTICON ABUSE: Please don't abuse the emoticons. They are there for you to express your emotions (hence the "emot" in "emoticons"), but there's no reason to place more than one or two in your posts. Not only does this look obnoxious, it slows down the load time for the thread. Please be considerate of others.
OFF-TOPIC POSTS: No posting of off-topic information is allowed. If you must reference something in a thread, start a new thread and add a link as a reference.
IMPERSONATION: Don't impersonate anyone (another user, a celebrity, a GD employee, etc.). If you do, it had better be funny and only mildly offensive.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Never post personal information (of the user or anyone else). This can lead to bad, bad things.
SPAMMING: There will be absolutely no posting of advertisements or solicitations of services or goods. Save the SPAM for your hotmail accounts.
COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL: Please avoid posting unauthorized copyrighted material unless properly cited.
CHAIN LETTERS: It's simple. Just don't post them. Supersitions regarding chain letters won't be tolerated.
OTHER: Posting of other information that GD decides (in its sole discretion) is inappropriate for the site may lead to additions in this list in the future.
