Stumbled across this kinda interesting ghost/ufo group from England
B.E.A.M.S., The British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society, The first link below is what sparked my interest, its a couple of digital photos from Waverley Abbey, near Farnham, Surrey, U.K. Check it out.

This from the home page on the site.
Founded in 1991, our society consists of a
team of active reporters and field investigators who
factually gather, study and disseminate evidence relating to Earth Mysteries, (e.g. Ley Lines, Terrestrial Energies and Ancient Site Anomalies), Strange Aerial Happenings, (e.g. Unidentified Flying Objects or UFO's), and The Paranormal, (e.g. Spirit and Psychic Phenomena).

WHERE NOT TO TEACH

By: mike | Profile
May 08, 08 | 3:00 am

If you are a wizard you definitely don't want to pursue your passion for teaching in Florida. Recently a substitute teacher was fired for performing a magic trick in front of the class. When he asked why it was said he was committing "wizardry". Wish I'd had a teacher like that, mine were mostly boring.

3D

By: mike | Profile

We’re living in a digital age, my friends, and the future of horror looks to be bright, pixilated…and jumping out of the screen! Coming hot off the heels of Beowulf’s success, an entire slate of 3D movies is poised to attack multiplexes across the country. With several films popping out in the next year or so, it’s gonna be hard to miss these cinematic treats. One of the latest 3D movies announced is 'Relentless', which follows a group of extreme sports enthusiasts chased by maniacs in the Amazon. Another upcoming project that sounds pretty darn exciting is the remake of 'My Bloody Valentine 3D'. This one will hit theaters January 23, 2009, and is set to star Jensen Ackles, star of the hit CW series Supernatural. I'm looking forward to the new crop, should provide some great inspiration for new props.LOL

And now for something completely different

VANDALISM

By: mike | Profile
May 02, 08 | 3:00 am

This is a story that takes place in a not so mythical far away location that is near and dear to all the denizens of these spooky pages. Far across the ocean in the land known as Romania lies a Provence known as Transylvania, which as we all know is rather famous for one thing. This is about that. This is much more mundane....on the surface.
It seems that the region is being hit by vandals, unseen vandals. The reports are a little sketchy, as news is not freely flowing from that region but what has slipped out claim that windows are broken, bikes fly thru the air and candles are blown out.....only no one can be seen perpetrating these acts! Leaving the local constables to come to the conclusion that it must be ghosts!!!!
Perhaps the ghosts of Vlads victims? Who knows?

Fangoria Spooksmodel

Welcome to Tuesday my little fiends. I have been absent due to attending the 3 days of the LA Fangoria convention. I know you are jealous but don't be hatin'! I have to announce that the winner of the Fangoria Spooksmodel contest was my friend Shannon Lark. She did this awesome chainsaw dance that can be found on Youtube as soon as I can figure out just how to put it up there. Anyway, this means great things for Shannon and also means that I will be inspired to go to pretty much every Fango con in the next year. If you get a chance, check out her Myspace page and send congrats...

ECTOPLASMIC ASSAULT?

By: mike | Profile
Apr 26, 08 | 3:00 am

In the field of ghost investigations the ethereal apparitions have been tied to all kinds of physical manifestations. These acts run the gamut from inaudible whispers only picked up on electronic recording devices to intense bodily harm events. But this may be the topper of all those reports, an assault of the most personal type. While these are not unheard of they are quite rare[I hope]. Or is there more to the story than what is being told? After all it is a suburb of Seattle....

Thanx to my friend Ramona for the tip on this story

While not strictly Halloween [and who is anyway?] last week end the Big Apple hosted Comic Con 2008. Once again, being on the wrong coast and way to poor to travel, didn't attend. From what I've read, well, lets just say I should a been there.LOL. So rather than further depress myself I'll just leave you a few links and crawl back under my rock.
P.S. check out the costumes, some nice stuff there.

HAUNT SECURITY?

By: mike | Profile

Well thats not what it was designed to do, but it would be a great addition to any Que line to control rowdy "victims" while they are waiting entry in to your haunt. A little imaginative repainting and this guy is ready to go!
